Socio-Economic Welfare Centre for Energetic Women (EWC)
It is evident that in most societies, women are discriminated, exploited and excluded from social, economical or decision making rights. Women are exploited much more and have fallen behind when compared. In context of Nepalwomen occupy more than half of the population; however, their condition is worse. A few of them are involved in development works but this still doesn’t represent the condition of women as a whole.
With recognition of this reality, in 19th May 1998, a non-profit, self-sustaining and non-governmental organization (NGO) Socio Economic Welfare Centre for Energetic Women was established to provide help, resources, support, inspire and encourage to socially and economically depriving members as required, so that they can respect themselves.
